Sri Lanka Tour Itinerary

 

Day 1: Arrival (AIRPORT – PINNAWALA – SIGIRIYA)

Your exploration will start from the moment you get to Colombo International Airport. Our representative will welcome you at the ARRIVALS TERMINAL, after which the customs and baggage collection will be facilitated. From there, you’re going to be taken to Sigiriya, which is the place where you will start your journey.

The road trip of your life will begin as you are taken to the world famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Day 2: SIGIRIYA – KANDY

After that, take a trip to the Habarana village on a bullock cart and indulge yourself in the rustic charm of it while savoring a tasty lunch.

Proceeding with the exploration, the next destination is the spice and herbal garden where the mystery of Sri Lanka’s aromatic treasures is unveiled. Then the marvels of Kandy, a city with rich culture and history, awaits. Take a leisurely walk to visit Kandy Lake, which is also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, then enjoy the mesmerizing movements of Cultural Dance Show in the evening.

At night, go back to your lodging in Kandy for a well-pampered rest.

Day 3: KANDY – RAMBODA – NUWARA ELIYA

Start your day with filling up your stomach with a rich breakfast and head on to discover some more of Sri Lanka’s treasures. Start your day by a tour of the famous Temple of the Tooth Relic, a Buddhist shrine that lies within the royal palace of the ancient Kingdom of Kandy.

Following that, walk up to the small town of Nuwara Eliya, which is famous for its beautiful scenery and tea plantations. You will encounter such beauty as you see the majestic Ramboda Waterfalls, plunging together with the lush surroundings. Jump into the art of tea making with a visit at a tea plantation in the neighborhood, where you will be given a chance to try the well-known Ceylon Tea.

Now it’s time to discover the peacefulness and the beauty of the shores of Gregory Lake and soak in the delights of the golf and race courses of Nuwara Eliya. With the day ending, relax at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya while admiring the calm setting.

Day 4: Nuwara Eliya – Bentota

A breakfast day has started with a smile and now it is time to follow the bright path of another day of discovery. Start your tour in the Seetha Amman Temple, which is one of the most important places in terms of legends and historical events.

After that, you will follow your senses at a strawberry farm, which is a local small grower where you can taste the freshest product straight from the fields. The next stop the of your journey that you would visit is the coastal paradise called Bentota, however, before you proceed, you would have to bid farewell to Nuwara Eliya.

In the way, you should visit scenic waterfalls and the viewpoints to enjoy the unforgettable photo-taking experience. On your arrival at Bentota, take in the beautiful beaches and just relax and charm yourself. Day 5: Bentota – Galle – Negombo

As the breakfast is on the way, you should move on to a walk round the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk along the streets with cobbles live with its colonial-era buildings, and show yourself the richness of history and culture.

Then, get immersed in a magical boat tour around the mangrove caves of Balapitiya next.
