On arrival at Auckland International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transfer to your hotel. After getting to the hotel and taking some rest, you can go out and discover Auckland on your own. One can take a walk along the shoreline, grab a cup of coffee at a nearby café or relax in one of the beautiful city parks.
Following breakfast, take a ride to Rotorua that is known for its geothermal activity and Māori culture. On the way, make a break at Waitomo Glow Worm Caves. Take a boat ride through the grotto at night with the help of thousands of glow worms. Proceed to Rotorua and spend the night in the hotel.
In Rotorua, learn about the Maori culture through a Maori performance which includes song and dance that depict the relationship between the Maoris and the land. Next, head to Te Puia/Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve to see the geothermal activity of the area including mud pools and geyser. In the afternoon visit the Agrodome where you will be offered an interesting show of sheep shearing and a brief on the history of sheep farming in New Zealand.
