Special Instructions for tourist visiting Ladakh:

• There is no prepaid mobile connectivity in Leh-Ladakh; only post-paid mobile phones are functional, preferably BSNL, Airtel and Jio. Since there are places where the phone may not be of any use, your family members should be advised in advance not to panic if they cannot get hold of you.
• It is rather difficult to locate any of the cellular networks in most of the regions in Leh. BSNL is better here though you will get Airtel and Jio signals also at some places (Leh, Hunder and Diskit).
• There will be no internet connection and if you are lucky you get a slow connection and that too at a very high cost.
• In the month of July guest do not require room heater in Leh City.
• During Camp stay, there will be provision of Boilers for heating purposes. (In Pangong)(Nubra not required)
• Any misshaping that occurred while on tour due to breathing problems, Land Slide and clement change etc We are not liable to refund any amount in this case.
• There are time scheduled for the electricity & water supply evening 7:00 Pm to 11:00 Pm electricity, Morning 7:00 am to 10:00 am (In Camp)
• Some amenities will be available at camp/tent stay specially, do not expect hotel like service as Ladakh is open only for 6 months.
• Carry with you a pair of woollen (not heavy) because the temperature may drop as low as 5 degrees at any time even in the summer months.
• You should always use good Sun Screen lotion, sunglasses (goggles), and cap when going out because the sun rays are direct and can easily cause your skin to burn.
• Please do not go around without your photo id. The acceptable photo IDs include Driving License, Passport, Voter Cards, and Aadhaar.
• When traveling on the mountains, continue to take water and fresh food and fruits so that one does not get sick by high altitude sickness or dizzy through curvy roads, low pressure and dry air.
• Take along headache medicine, Stomachache medicine, anti-vomiting tablets with you.
• You may take Diamox at least 7-8 hours before arrival at Leh (preferably before going to bed) and may also take before boarding a plane to Leh. The medicine is optional. It is recommended that one should have rest and drink enough water for several hours after arriving in Leh.
• Leh has some of the ATM machines that you can use to withdraw cash. These machines experience many customers during the holiday seasons and many a time they exhaust their cash. Non-connectivity is another issue. Therefore it is wise to carry enough cash with you.
• Ladakh is a place, which has Buddhism and Muslim culture, so please do not forget about it. All the people of the communities here are peace loving and respect the brotherhood and harmony and the tourists. The residents also expect this from the tourists.

Notes:

• The AC will not work in the areas where the height of the land is high like a hill or in cars that are stopped or parked.
• A Car will operate only up to the extent it is permitted in a certain location, if the guest wish to move/go beyond that place, he or she will have to hire his or her local transport.
• Child below 05 Yrs will be free in the hotel (Sharing bed with the parents).
