Welcome to Kenya. Your journey starts on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where our able representative will be waiting to cheer you up. After a warm welcome, you will be escorted to the hotel on the outskirts of Nairobi city, which is the vibrant capital of the country. The bus ride from the airport to the hotel gives a feel of the colourful streets of Nairobi and its busy streets. As soon as you get to your hotel, try to spend some time relaxing and getting comfortable following a long trip. Either sitting by the pool or having fun with the services available at the hotel, the rest of the day is your free time to be utilised at your leisure.
Following a lazy breakfast at the hotel, you will start a scenic drive to Aberdare National Park, which is a stunning highland facility in Kenya. The journey to Aberdare takes around 3.5 hours, and the beautiful scenery of this country is a view to behold as you move from one area to another en route. Once you arrive, please enjoy a fantastic lunch at the pleasant Aberdare Country Club, which will not only please your taste buds but also offer you a unique view of the whole surrounding landscape. However, after lunch, move to The Ark Lodge, which is located in a canopy of a beautiful forest. Get cosy at your haven and enjoy an amazing wildlife viewing from the Ark Lodge’s deck or balcony.
Indulge in a laid-back breakfast at The Ark Lodge, taking your time to enjoy the tranquillity of the wilderness surroundings and preparing for the next fun-packed action. Leave Aberdare National Park and travel towards the serene sides of Lake Naivasha, which is approximately a four-and-a-half-hour drive. To the Great Rift Valley, whose amazing length spans East Africa, en route, there are beautiful views to enjoy. Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for a scrumptious lunch at the lodge of your choice, from where you can savour your meal under the blue skies with the lake as a backdrop and the distant volcanic peaks gazing down at you. You shall spend the rest of the afternoon at your own pace. It is up to you to pick any activity you want, such as a nature walk along the Lake Naivasha shores, a boat safari to spot hippos and birds, or simply relaxing in the lakeside tranquillity.
Wake up the next day to a breakfast at the lodge served with the colours and flavours of Kenya as you are ready to start your next day. A ferociously adventurous drive is awaiting you to the internationally famous Masai Mara National Reserve that takes about 5 hours. While walking in the wonderful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley and the vast plains of the Mara, you may be lucky to sight some wildlife along the path. Arrival at Masai Mara is marked by a sumptuous lunch in your selected accommodation. You will have time to relax and gain energy before fun activities late in the afternoon. Post-lunch, go for an expedition in the Masai Mara, guided by knowledgeable guides who will help you find the myriad of species that inhabit the reserve.
Today is what you call to conquer Masai Mara’s immensity by both morning and afternoon game drives. Get up before the dawn to join an early morning game drive, when the savannah is coming to life and the predators are on the lookout for their next meal. Head back to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast and start out in the afternoon, adjusting your schedules according to the behaviour of the wildlife when they are grazing, hunting, and roaming across the plains.
Relish a relaxed morning breakfast at your lodge, savouring the last moments of your Kenyan safari adventure, as the dawn breaks and the sounds and sights of nature fill the air. Bid goodbye to Masai Mara as you embark on the scenic drive, which will take you approximately 5.5 hours, back to Nairobi. Recap on the unforgettable experiences and huge collection of memories you’ve gained as you start to leave the Mara and move to the capital, Nairobi. Transfer to the Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your flight to your hometown in time.
